August 15 through September 15, 2004. Month five was so action packed that we've broken it into pieces. We went to Seattle to visit Zealan (and his parents, Elin and Darryl), and we went to Sacramento for Labor Day weekend, and of course, there's some time just being Liam at home. |

Feeding - Day II |
|
This is the second day of Liam eating anything other than breastmilk. As you can see, he's quite enthusiastic about the process. However, despite that, this only lasted about a week, and we returned to breastmilk only. We will resume rice cereal at about 6 months. |
Liam Meets Zealan |

On August 30, we flew to Seattle to visit our friends Darryl, Elin, and their son Zealan who is about two months older than Liam. Clearly, Zealan is far more mature -- and doesn't know what this infant is doing. |
